Aspart of our interview series called “5 Things I Wish Someone Told Me Before I Became A Founder”, I had the pleasure of interviewing Roshini Singh.

A National Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner, Roshini Singh earned her Nurse Practitioner license with a focus in Family Medicine from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and earned her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton and has been in the medical field for over a decade.

I’ll gladly prioritize an infrared sauna session, a lymphatic drainage massage, or a Pilates class, but when it comes to my annual doctors’ check-ups, I couldn’t tell you if I’m up to date if my life depended on it. And I know I’m not alone. Whether it’s time constraints, fear of bad news, cost concerns, or lack of trust in the medical system, nearly one-third of respondents in a 2015 study reported putting off seeking medical care, even individuals with major health problems or who were experiencing symptoms.

365 Wellness, a mobile Direct Primary Care (DPC) Practice, is proud to announce its participation in the National Prescription Drug Take Back campaign this month. This vital initiative, hosted by the US Drug Enforcement Administration, aims to combat prescription drug misuse by providing a safe and responsible means of disposing of unused or expired medications.

Everybody is different and every body is different which is why a one size fits all approach to health and wellness rarely reaps the benefits people are looking for – be it weight loss, increased mobility or overall better health.

In an era when so much information is at our fingertips and medical advancements have been leaps and bounds, it’s almost surreal to find ourselves grappling with an outbreak of measles in kids right here in South Florida. As a local mom navigating the complexities of modern parenting, the recent surge in measles cases, particularly in our backyard, has been both alarming…and frankly, bewildering to me.
